| Choosing a highly skilled photographer for our special day was important to us. We were not on the lookout for a budget photographer but a highly skilled artist to provide us with an emotional and candid recollection of our special day. Everyone in our initial inquires we spoke to were always mentioning DMT Photography. So an inspection of David’s website gave us an insight to his wonderful world of wedding photography, his style of photography seemed to capture the emotion and fun of these couples we did not even know. We just had to meet with him to discuss our plans. David’s resume was truly awesome, a diploma in Photography, photos published by all of Australia’s national newspapers, articles and photos in ‘Who Magazine’, wedding photos that have won National and Sate Awards for excellence, the Mid North Coast’s highest awarded professional wedding photographer since 2001. He was the only photographer we visited to have his own office and gallery in the centre of Coffs Harbour not just a room in his house, this gave us confidence from when we first walked in that we were dealing with a passionate, professional wedding photographer. We immediately connected with David and he flooded us with his ideas to help make our wedding day very special and totally suited our personalities. He also guided us with advice on which other wedding service providers to use, it was like he was our wedding co-ordinator and photographer rolled into one. This was a great help as we were organising our wedding from out of town and David’s advice proved spot on as all our wedding providers showed a care and understanding that helped make our wedding very special. Most importantly we were not treated like a number but real people with our own thoughts and ideas on what to do for our wedding. Our wedding day went by in such a blur of activity that it is hard to remember all that happened. The day was made more special by the wonderful photography of David Michael Thorn. David’s reassuring nature, cheeky personality and ability to be in the right spot at the right time ensured we were totally confident in all he directed us to do. David’s photos helped us to relive our day in special detail. He documented our day with a fantastic mix of artistic, natural, candid and fun photos to enjoy forever. The best was yet to come, our artistic magazine style wedding album is now a family heirloom and to be treasured forever to show our children and grandchildren.
